DigiPhotog Assignment: Food

The Assignment for Advanced Digital Photography this time around was to take pictures of food that would make the viewer taste just what it is that you like about it. Here's Hoping I do okay on grades. The picture of peas was not what I would like to have shown. I would prefer to have them be freshly picked and shelled peas out of my Grandpa Nielson's garden, but Grandpa and his garden are both gone. I miss them.

Yeah, I miss Grandma and Grandpa and their garden, too.

Nicely done. You've done great with the lighting.
Two really jumped out at me: the skittle falling out of the jar and the one with the peas. I like the colors and the lighting.
Really nice.

I like all but the breakfast. The food isn't that "Catching" like the others. My overall favorite is the top skittles photo.

Thanks, everyone. :D My teacher doesn't really do the "Letter grade" thing so I just have to gauge his opinion on comments he makes while we present our ideas to the class. I'll let you know how it goes.

I was just thinking the same as Heidi - I miss Grandpa and Grandma and their amazing garden that I never appreciated when I was a kid and working in it. I really liked your candy pictures :)

Do you not like Bananas, Suze?

Kristin- Yeah, I used to not want to go mow their lawn, but every time I did it I felt good about it afterwards.

I think it's awesome how all the Utah families went over and helped take care of the garden and lawn. With everything that kept our parents busy, they still took the time to go help Grandma and Grandpa out and got us to do it too - and usually they got us to do it cheerfully. Had they lived close by, I'm sure Uncle Bill and and Aunt Luonna would have done it too. We are the children and Grandchildren of some really Amazing people.
